Summer Events in Jackson Hole: Roundup
Idyllic summer days are upon us, and there are countless things to do in Jackson Hole during this time. From music festivals to art and antique shows, there are plenty of fun options for the whole family. Check out our roundup of some of our favorite upcoming summer events in Jackson Hole.
Since 1962, the Grand Teton Music Festival has been one of Jackson Hole’s favorite annual traditions. The seven-week classical musical festival began as a movement to help develop cultural activities in Jackson Hole and has grown into one of the nation’s finest orchestral organizations. The festival is held each summer and runs through mid-August.
Every Monday-Saturday until Labor Day, the Jackson Hole Shootout will take place at 6:00 pm on Town Square. This free event has been a Wyoming tradition since 1957 – it is the longest, continuously running gunfight in the country.
On July 9th, stop by the View22 artist demonstration highlighting the many Land Trust protected properties that can be seen from this unique vantage point. Artists include Dwayne Harty, Abby Paffrath, and more. This event is open to the public with a Tram ticket.
This diverse art fair comes to Miller Park on July 10-12 and August 7-9. Featuring everything from ceramics to furniture and from glass creations to photography, this art fair has a little of everything. The family-oriented event showcases up to 135 artists along with live music, food, and activities.
On July 17-19 at The Virginian Lodge and Conference Center, visitors can enjoy high-end art and antiques in a beautiful Jackson Hole setting. The show will be back in Teton Village from August 21-23.
Right in the heart of Teton Village every Sunday afternoon is Concerts on the Commons, a free summer music series. Head on over with a blanket or grab a seat in the natural amphitheater. Local vendors will be available with food and drinks. There is no better way to end the weekend.
